Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health issues with over twenty-five percent of the population meeting criteria at one time in their life for some type of anxiety.

The KSCSW 2019 Winter Conference: The Ins and Outs and All the Doubts About OCD: More than just Hand Washing and Checking, will help you learn/review the basics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the use of Exposure and Prevention Therapy as used in anxiety based disorders.

The Conference will meet from 9 am – 4 pm on Friday December 6, 2019 at the Fayette County Extension Office, 1140 Harry Sykes Way, in Lexington. Lunch will be provided, along with 6 CEU's.

During this conference, Patrick McGrath Ph.D will:

  • Present the basics of CBT, EPT as used in anxiety based disorders.
  • Review specific case presentations for Panic, Phobia (morning session) and OCD (afternoon session) with exercises for audience members to participate.
  • Discuss presentations for audience members and assist in developing a treatment plan.
