Reducing Maternal and Child Health Disparities through a Strength-Based Lens

WORKSHOP SUMMARY

During this training, Sheila Barnhart, PhD, MSW, will review how conceptual models of resilience offer a strength-based approach toward addressing maternal and child health disparities. She will provide examples from her current research which have applied these models, and she will discuss how they can inform professional education, practice and research.
